Job Title: Physical Therapist – Acute Care (Full-Time)Locations: Palm Beach Gardens, FL | West Palm Beach, FLEmployment Type: Full-Time | Direct HireHours: 40 hours per weekHolidays: Must work at least one major holiday per calendar year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's)Weekends: Minimum 2 weekend days per monthOn-Call: Not requiredPay Range: $34.34 – $51.51/hour, based on experienceSign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 (based on experience)Overview: Wheeler Staffing Partners is recruiting Physical Therapists to join acute care teams in Palm Beach Gardens and West Palm Beach, FL. These roles involve delivering expert therapy services to patients with a variety of diagnoses, including neurological, trauma, critically ill, orthopedic, and general medical cases. Acute care experience is strongly preferred, whether gained through prior work or clinical rotations. New graduates with strong acute care exposure are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.Educate patients and families on treatment goals, rehabilitation strategies, and at-home care.Partner with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Maintain accurate and compliant documentation according to facility and regulatory standards.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.Active Florida Physical Therapist License.Current BLS certification approved by the American Heart Association.Acute care experience preferred; new graduates with strong acute care clinical exposure welcome.Compensation & Benefits:Pay Range: $34.34 – $51.51/hour, based on experienceUp to $20,000 sign-on bonus (paid over 2 years)Relocation assistance availableStudent loan repayment assistance offeredComprehensive benefits package begins after 31 daysNon-union positions
