Assistant Service TechnicianPay: $20 - $25/hourJob SummaryThis is a hands-on role designed for someone eager to learn, grow, and build technical skills in service and maintenance. You'll support technicians in start-ups, warranty work, inspections, and repairs, while gaining valuable industry experience.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of cooling towers and related equipmentPerform general labor tasks including debris removal, pressure washing, and part replacementSafely use hand and power tools under supervisionFollow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPESupport with assembly/disassembly, transporting materials, and documenting workMaintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles in good orderRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work safely at heightsComfortable working outdoors in various weather conditionsBasic familiarity with tools; willingness to learn is essentialStrong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork mindsetWillingness to travel to different job sites as neededClean driving record and ability to pass a drug test (safety-sensitive position)Preferred Experience (a plus, not required)Prior work in construction, HVAC, plumbing, or industrial maintenanceRelevant certifications (HVAC, EPA, plumbing, electrical, boilers)Associate degree or technical training in related fieldsWhy Apply?This role is ideal for individuals who want to gain hands-on technical experience, grow into skilled trades, and develop a long-term career path.
