Building Engineer I - Class A Commercial PropertyLocation: Denver, COPay: $90k-$95kAimHire is partnering with a leading real estate organization to hire a Building Engineer I for a premier Class A commercial property located in the heart of downtown Denver. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the on-site operations team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience, contribute to the maintenance of a high-performing facility, and advance within the commercial real estate industry.ResponsibilitiesConduct daily building walkthroughs and inspect mechanical roomsPerform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and life safety systemsRespond to and resolve tenant service requests and basic repair issuesMonitor building operations and promptly report anomalies to the Chief EngineerAssist with maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and suppliesEnsure work complies with safety protocols, building codes, and internal standardsCoordinate with vendors and contractors under supervisionMaintain accurate logs, equipment records, and service documentationSupport emergency response efforts and participate in the on-call rotationQualifications1-3 years of experience in building operations or facilities maintenance (commercial preferred)High school diploma or GED required; technical training or trade certification is a plusWorking knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electricalEPA Type I or II Certification preferred; willingness to obtain required certificationsFamiliarity with BAS (Building Automation Systems) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plusStrong customer service, time management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and safely operate basic tools and machineryBenefitsCompetitive pay with opportunities for overtimeComprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and retirement plansOngoing training, certification support, and career developmentA supportive and collaborative team environment in a high-end propertyAimHire is an equal opportunity employer.
