Position Overview:We are seeking a Progress Specialist to support construction progress and quantity validation on CM projects with unit rate subcontractors. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on construction experience and a strong understanding of field operations, including piping, electrical, and mechanical work.The selected candidate will oversee subcontractor progress tracking, ensuring updates are aligned with contractual obligations. While this role does not include tool setup or budget establishment, the specialist will work closely with offsite SMEs and use internal progress measurement software.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and validate construction progress and quantities on unit rate contractsEnsure subcontractors provide timely and accurate progress updatesCollaborate with offsite SMEs for tool setup and supportUtilize internal software for progress measurement (training provided)Report to direct supervisor and participate in virtual interviews with project stakeholdersPotential for future site travel and long-term opportunitiesQualifications:Experience:Minimum 5 years of construction progress and quantity validation experiencePrior roles may include Field Engineer, General Foreman, or similarEducation:No degree required; hands-on construction experience preferredCandidates with a construction management degree (LG15) and relevant experience will be consideredOpen to candidates pursuing online or evening education programsSkills:Strong understanding of construction disciplines (pipe, electrical, mechanical)Ability to learn and use construction progress softwareExcellent communication and coordination skillsLocation Requirement:Must be local to Boulder or the north Denver areaNo relocation or travel provisions providedPreferred Qualifications:Experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing construction projectsFamiliarity with companies such as Turner, Aimes, COB Mechanical, WayfieldKnowledge of regional construction practices and subcontractor management
