DescriptionRafiki Coalition for Health and Wellness is a health, wellness, and fitness organization based in San Francisco, California. Our mission is to eliminate health inequities in Black and marginalized communities through education, advocacy, and holistic health services. We provide a range of services including health education, movement classes, health screenings, mental health support, and transitional housing for people living with HIV/AIDS. We strive to deliver these services in a culturally affirming environment.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist role based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with some work-from-home flexibility. The therapist will provide relationship counseling, family therapy, and mental health support. Daily tasks include conducting therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, maintaining client records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. The role also involves supporting clients with trauma resiliency as well as participating in mental health circles and case management services.QualificationsProficiency in Relationship Counseling, Counseling, and Family TherapyStrong skills in Mental Health and PsychologyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity in client interactionsExperience working with diverse and marginalized populations is a plusMaster's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related fieldActive LMFT license in California
