The project is a multi-year, performance-based, transportation asset management contract with Tennessee's Department of Transportation. This position requires incident management coordination as well as supervision of in-house maintenance crews and area managers which includes a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance, including but not limited to, pothole patching, drain cleaning, vegetation management, sweeping, ground signs, road patrol, incident response, and more. Adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.Required Experience:Minimum of five (5) years of construction related experience, Basic knowledge Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Earth Strong, leadership qualities; must have experience in overseeing, directing and leading construction crews.Preferred Experience:Maintenance of Traffic CertificationsKnowledge in Herbicide application/licensing in Right of way and aquatic pestPlanning, scheduling, and estimatingGeneral knowledge with regards to highway lightingClean driving record is essentialMust pass criminal background checkQualifications:High School Diploma/GEDMaintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)Operating and maintaining company vehicles and equipmentKnowledge of local driving rules and regulationsCarry out simple arithmetic functionsMaintain proper safety equipment required for each jobKnowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technologyAbility to use smart phone and applicationsAbility to adjust to changing work scheduleAbility to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditionsCapable of lifting up to 50 pounds; strenuous manual labor may be requiredAbility to operate hand/power toolsObtain herbicide license with in 6 months of hireSchedule:Full time; Must be flexible, able to travel, and work varying schedules.Total Compensation Package to include: Competitive base pay, annual profitability based bonus, recognition incentives and extensive training opportunities.
