The Engineering Designer will support electrical distribution design projects, with a strong preference for Exelon/BGE experience. This role is responsible for completing engineering design packages, working on Green Power Connection projects, and ensuring accuracy through internal QA/QC processes.Job Responsibilities:Perform electrical distribution design for overhead and underground systems (Exelon/BGE experience preferred).Use MicroStation software to complete detailed design work.Work from approved engineering packages and deliver accurate design documentation.Design overhead and underground extensions in existing electrical distribution systems.Understand and apply overhead distribution design principles, including tensions and deflection angles.Read and interpret engineered diagrams of pole framings, overhead, and underground equipment to determine requirements and clearances.Job Requirements:2+ years of experience in electrical distribution design.Proficiency in MicroStation.Ability to review, interpret, and execute design packages with high accuracy.Knowledge of overhead/underground electrical systems and related equipment.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
