Senior Cost AccountantLHH is conducting a search for a hands-on Sr. Cost Accountant. The role is with an international, family owned Medical Device Manufacturing company. This is a direct hire, hybrid role (2x on site, 3x remote) in Princeton, NJ.A Day in the LifeThis is one of the most important positions in the company as you will oversee the cost accounting & WIP functions of a $10M subsidiary. You will be responsible for oversight of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), raw material, work in progress (WIP), creation of polices and procedures, developing production schedules, and analyzing the bottom line.You have a strong understanding of corporate accounting functions, including month end close, financial statement preparation, and reconciliation functions.Integrity, excellent organizational skills, and communication skills are just some of the core focuses of the role.Job RequirementsYou possess:At least 5+ years relevant, stable accounting/ financial experienceExperience in manufacturing, including experience with WIP, and cost accounting is requiredExcellent communication skills and can communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationIn depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including financial statement prepA Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceTech savvy with strong working knowledge of MS Office, including demonstrable expertise with ExcelSalary$100,000 - 115,000Bonus10%LocationPrinceton, NJ Hybrid - 2x on site, 3x remoteBenefits Include:401kCompetitive PTOCompetitive Medical, Vision, DentalIf this sounds like your skill set, then contact me today for immediate consideration.
