Project Estimator

KTM Builders LLC, a southeastern based General Contractor is seeking an Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of Commercial Construction experience. Our Company focuses on Commercial projects such as retail, restaurants, Churches, Hotels and the like.If you love math, your integrity and morals are above reproach, you enjoy and have the ability to create conceptual budgets, create bid estimates and win projects: Then we are looking for you.The candidate is to have above par computer skills and be able to use to the fullest extent possible programs such as Procore, PlanSwift, Microsoft 365 Suite and the like. The Estimator will be in charge of solicitation of subcontractors, material take offs, preparing bid packages, issuing complete scope of work Subcontracts and completing all buy out within 2 weeks of award of a project.Other requirements:Ability to read and understand plans and specifications for overall project understanding and to identify risk in difficult work, project restrictions and time constraints.Organize, research and strategically plan for estimate preparation, pricing, scheduling, and final submission to KTM VP and Owner.Review estimates and subcontractor proposals for accuracy and completeness to maximize revenue and minimize exposure.Development of accurate estimates for each project.Participate in turnover meeting for the Project Manager and Superintendent.Development of subcontractor and material supplier relationships.Maturity to know when to ask a question when necessary.College degree is not required. If you truly have over 5 years of experience as a Commercial Estimator, we want you to apply.Time management and analytical skills required to maintain work load proficiency and increase outside the office Lifestyle. The office is only part of the job; how we live and enjoy our lives outside the office is more important and will relate to a productive employee.10. Finally, to provide full estimating on all types of projects and help train, support and mentor estimating teams. In essence, to become the Leader.Our Company offers fully paid benefits for the Employee for Health, Dental and Vision and you are able to sign up for our 401K plan at the earliest date allowed (with a 4% match). This job requires that you be in the office full time.
