Fulfillment Operations Coordinator

POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe Fulfillment Ops Coordinator will ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. The role needs to ensure strict inventory controls and work closely with accounting operations to establish and maintain appropriate procedures to maintain inventory accuracy through formal counting programs. The Fulfillment Ops Coordinator will manage all delivery providers such as UPS and FedEx to obtain the best rates and ensure high service levels. As part of a regulated healthcare business the role will also collaborate with the Head of Quality & Regulatory to ensure ISO and other regulatory requirements.Salary: Up to $50,000 AnnualPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIESOptimize product storage layout for efficient receiving, pick, pack and shippingMaintain strong inventory controls by establishing robust cycle and physical count programsContinually monitor shipping costs to ensure the best available rates are being obtained while meeting service level targetsWork closely with quality & regulatory to ensure adherence to the company's quality programs and regulatory requirementsSupport the month end and annual close process related to inventory accuracy and revenue reconciliationsParticipate as needed with quality audits including FDA, ISO or any other regulatory requirementsWork closely with sales and finance to maintain appropriate levels of inventoryParticipate as needed with sales and operations on demand planningResolve and late or lost shipments and processing of any product returnsMaximize capabilities of the company's ERP and integrated shipping applicationsAd hoc reporting and analysis as neededEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree with a concentration in the sciences or operations management preferred, not required0-2 years of prior warehouse experience within a regulated environment preferred not required-prior industry related internships will be consideredPrior experience with supporting a strong company quality systemStrong attention to detailExperience managing shipping providersStrong communicator and the ability to work cross functionally
