We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Construction Quality Control and Safety Manager to join a leading Company located in the Bowie, MD surrounding area.Salary: $120,000 - $140,000US Citizenship is required.Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.We are currently seeking a seasoned Construction Quality Control and Safety Manager to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety in our construction endeavors. This pivotal role encompasses the management of quality control and safety protocols, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and company policies, and fostering a secure work environment.ResponsibilitiesQuality Control and Safety ProgramsSite Inspections and EvaluationsThree-Phase Inspection ProgramTraining and LeadershipDocumentation and ReportingAccident and Incident ManagementSubcontractor ManagementAct as the main Point of Contact for all Regulatory Compliance issuesMaterial and Equipment ChecksInspections and Code ComplianceReview As-Built Drawings and Safety PlansSubmittal and Document ReviewBasic Hiring CriteriaBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience in construction quality control and safety managementMust be a US citizen and willing to apply for a security clearanceIn-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control standardsProficiency with EM-385, OSHA regulations, and safety standards in the construction industryStrong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skillsCertification in USACE CQM and safety management (e.g., CQM, CSP, CHST)Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to excellenceStrong training and motivational skills in quality and safety practicesProficient in quality control software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across all staff and management levelsBenefits offered to vary by the contract.
