Title: Purchasing Manager Location: Duke, OklahomaSummary: The Purchasing Manager oversees the procurement of essential spare parts and raw materials needed to keep the plant operating smoothly. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable service. Additionally, the individual in this position will contribute to the development and upkeep of the plant's inventory and purchasing database.Key ResponsibilitiesManage procurement of services, raw materials, and spare parts to support plant operationsDevelop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and reliable serviceOversee purchasing processes, approvals, and compliance with company policies and regulationsNegotiate contracts and agreements for goods and servicesMonitor vendor performance and delivery timelinesMaintain and optimize the plant's parts inventory systemCollaborate with maintenance and plant personnel to locate and source required itemsLead process improvements in purchasing and sourcing strategiesEnsure adherence to safety standards and participate in required safety trainingOperate necessary equipment and tools for inventory and procurement tasksQualificationsHigh School Diploma or G.E.D.
