Production Planning Operations Analyst - OnsiteLocation: Redmond, WA 98052Pay Rate: $30.00/hr. - $34.66/hr.Contract Duration: 12 MonthsShift (if applicable): 1st - M-F 8:00am - 5:00pmDescription/Comment:GENERAL SUMMARY:Develops and implements production build plans by considering sales order priorities, material availability, cost, and production capacity. Partners with Production leadership to maximize output and labor across multiple product lines.Working under minimal supervision, this position has frequent use and/or application of industry principles, theories, and concepts of production planning and requires general knowledge of industry standards. In this position the person is expected to solve a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Takes initiative and leads actions to ensure customer delivery requirements both internal and external are met.Analyze sales orders within the planning lead time to ensure material is available to fulfill scheduled orders.Utilize MRP/supplier visualization (SV), and work with Procurement to ensure accurate material availability dates.Maintain sales order due dates to align with expected material availability and capacity limitations.Collaborate with Customer Services/Order Entry teams for revised priorities and rescheduling if orders are not fulfilled within the appropriate time frame.Collaborate with Operations Project Coordinators and Material Coordinators to effectively manage engineering change implementations on the production lines.Actively participate in material allocations between production and aftermarket demands.Performs analysis that highlights trends, drivers, and issues with Production planning. Leads counter measures to resolve issues.Actively engages as a planning representative on the cross-functional project teams.Utilize planning tools to effectively and efficiently create tactical inventory and supply solutions.Support Production Supervisor and Leads in root-cause analysis activities related to production.May train, mentor and supervise junior plannersPerform other related duties as assigned.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or equivalent4 years of relevant experiencePREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:APICS CertificationQAD / SAP experience and applicationAdvanced skill level required for Excel and Word.
