Are you a CNC Swiss, Lathe or Mill Machinist II looking for a family founded company that invests in technology (equipment & software) for customers in the Aerospace, Medical Device, Automotive, Semiconductor, Computer, and general manufacturing industries.P&F Machining, Inc., in Otsego, Minnesota is seeking Swiss, Lathe and Mill Machinists, for our first shift, that will produce product to P&F standards and customer specifications. Please no out-of-state applications.Essential Functions:Operate forklift.Comply with all safety rules and regulations.Comply to all quality policies and goals.Able to read and follow job travelers and other manufacturing documentation.Program a machine both on and off-line.Effectively edit and retain programs with no supervision and in accordance with P&F procedures.Effectively create, complete, perform and save setups needed for in-process inspection verifications.Review and approve setup sheets for Level I and II Machinists.Make offsets with no supervision.Ensure segregation, identification and reporting of non-conforming product.Perform visual inspection of parts and materials using unaided eye and magnification.Perform GD&T inspection of parts using a variety of mechanical gages.Ability to operate CMM and interpret CMM reports to identify required process changes.Create process documentation to ensure QMS requirements.Aid in the selection of tooling.Establish feed and speeds.Design and build of work holding and fixtures.Identify and implement continuous improvement efforts related to productivity and quality.Creates manufacturing processes for difficult and complex products.Produce prototype product to P&F and customer expectations with little or no process documentation.Manage special projects with minimal supervision.Provide troubleshooting support to P&F shop floor personnel.Provide subject matter support to Sales, Engineering and Quality functions.Develop skills and competencies of Level I, Level II and Level III Machinists.Mentor and train employees.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.All essential functions must be performed in an efficient manner.Skills and Qualifications:Advanced understanding of GD&T.Subject matter expert understanding of machining methodologies.Generate and follow documented procedures and standards.Interpret feature of size requirements on blueprints.Supervise the operation of CMM and other automated inspection equipment.Effective user of ERP system and Microsoft Office software.Ability to keep accurate records.Ability to work independently and accurately perform duties in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.Strong attention to detail.Must demonstrate superb problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Education:High school diploma required.Background:2 to 5 years of manufacturing machining experience.
