Estimator - Central OhioMy client, a well-established commercial general contractor in Central Ohio, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a key role in preconstruction and support the delivery of successful commercial projects.What You'll Be Doing:Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial projects from conceptual through final stagesReview drawings, specifications, and proposals to determine scope and requirementsDevelop accurate take-offs, material and labor pricing, and subcontractor comparisonsCollaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsContribute to value engineering and cost-saving strategiesSupport bid presentations and client meetingsWhat We're Looking For:Minimum of 5 years' experience as a construction estimator, preferably in commercial general contractingStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry pricingProficiency with estimating software and take-off tools (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift)Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentWhat's on Offer:Competitive salary (DOE)Benefits package including healthcare, retirement plan, and PTOOpportunity to work with a reputable contractor with a strong pipeline of projectsCareer growth in a supportive, team-focused environmentIf you have the right background and are looking for your next challenge, please apply today or reach out directly for a confidential discussion.
