If you're passionate about bringing the latest scientific discoveries to life and are ready to take the next step in your career, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts.Pay Rate: $55/hourOverviewIn this role, you will conduct molecular and cell biology experiments such as cell culture, protein and nucleic acid assays, and cell-based functional tests, while maintaining detailed records, analyzing data, and collaborating with scientific teams to support drug discovery projects in a fast-paced laboratory setting. You'll manage multiple projects simultaneously, troubleshoot assays, and clearly communicate results to colleagues and clients.Schedule:Monday-Friday, standard working hoursResponsibilities:Conduct mammalian cell culture procedures, including maintenance, expansion, cryopreservation, and transfection/transduction.Perform and optimize protein and nucleic acid detection assays (e.g., Western blot, ELISA, qPCR) and cell-based functional assays (e.g., viability, proliferation, cytotoxicity).Record, analyze, and interpret experimental data; generate reports and communicate findings to teams and clients.Maintain compliance with SOPs and safety protocols, while assisting in troubleshooting and assay optimization.Support general lab operations by managing supplies, equipment, and inventory.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.5+ years of experience with cell culture techniques and aseptic handling.5+ years of experience with protein detection methods (e.g., ELISA, Western blot), molecular biology assays (e.g., qPCR) and cell-based assays (e.g., cytotoxic assays, drug dose response assays).CRO experience preferred
