While you will be based our of our Pittsburgh, PA office, we offer hybrid/work-from-home opportunities. You will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of tasks across all of Penn E&R's market sectors and be expected to perform both office-based and field-based assignments.Qualifications include:Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related fieldProfessional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 1 year4 to 7+ years of civil engineering experienceWork experience in the following is a plus:Hydrology and hydraulicsErosion and sediment controlsStormwater management controlsLand DevelopmentAutoCAD Civil 3DApplicable work experience for this role includes:Provide technical guidance for the preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plansHydrology and hydraulic and drainage calculationsErosion and sediment control designStormwater management calculationsPost-Construction Stormwater Management BMP designAutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following:Creating 3-D surfacesGrading plansProfiles/cross-sectionsPipe networks and corridorsWorking with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposalsWe know that great work happens when people feel supported both on and off the job.
