Superintendent

Position Summary: The Commercial Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing daily operations on commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. The Superintendent coordinates field activities, manages subcontractors and crews, and serves as the primary on-site point of contact.Key Responsibilities:Plan, schedule, and oversee all daily field operations on assigned projects.Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.Enforce project safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.Monitor project progress, quality, and costs, reporting updates to the Project Manager.Review and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.Conduct daily site meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.Maintain site logs, progress reports, and required documentation.Anticipate and resolve issues that could impact timelines, budgets, or quality.Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and materials.Represent the company professionally with clients, inspectors, and the community.Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction (ground-up, TI, or renovation).Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, codes, and safety regulations.Proven ability to manage subcontractors and field personnel effectively.Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.OSHA 30 certification (preferred).Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.Working Conditions:Full-time, on-site role at active construction sites.May require overtime, weekend work, or travel depending on project demands.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.Health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with company match.Paid time off and holidays.Professional development opportunities.
