Akkodis is seeking an Associate I Payroll for a 3-month contract with a client in St Paul MN 55117Title - Associate I PayrollLocation: St Paul MN 55117Contract: 3-month contractPay Range: $28/hr. - $30/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)Shift8 am to 4:30 pmDescriptionPrepares the monthly payroll, conducting the necessary processes for payment of the various components of salary, such as vacation pay, overtime, etc. Is also responsible for payment of legal charges and statutory withholdings, such as employee guarantee fund, social security, income tax, labor dues, etc. Makes the calculations of payments related to dismissals.SkillsPrevious work with state agenciesWork on tax notices, work with tax providers, power of attorneys, and 3rd party authorizationsHas multi-state tax experienceMicrosoft Office Suites (Excel)Communication: Clear and effective communicationAttention to Detail: Ensuring all aspects of the project are thoroughly considered and executedEducationHigh school with at least 2-3 years payroll tax experienceEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
