Job Title: Leasing SpecialistLocation: Wellington, FLProperty Size: 300+ UnitsPosition Overview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to join our team at a 300+ unit apartment community in Wellington, FL. The Leasing Specialist will play a key role in driving occupancy, ensuring resident satisfaction, and supporting the overall success of the property. This position requires a proactive, organized, and personable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently as well as collaboratively with the property management and marketing teams.Key Responsibilities:Advertise and promote current and upcoming vacancies across multiple platforms to maximize exposure and attract qualified tenantsGreet and engage walk-in prospects, provide professional tours of available units, and address all questions and concerns during the leasing processConduct thorough apartment walkthroughs to ensure homes are move-in ready, verifying functionality of appliances and overall unit conditionDraft, review, and execute accurate and legally sound lease agreements, renewals, and amendments as neededCollect rents, track tenant accounts, and assist with delinquency management when requiredCoordinate with tenants and vendors to complete snag lists, arrange maintenance, and resolve issues promptly to ensure high resident satisfactionPartner with the marketing team to create fresh, creative campaigns to increase visibility and occupancy ratesDocument and address property rule violations and ensure compliance with community standardsPerform detailed move-out inspections, documenting damages and deductions prior to security deposit returnsMaintain organized records, track follow-ups with prospects, and ensure leasing goals are consistently metRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred but not required)Proven experience as a Leasing Specialist, Leasing Manager, or similar role in multifamily property managementStrong marketing and sales skills, with the ability to quickly identify and secure qualified tenantsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanorStrong organizational and follow-up abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities independentlyCustomer-service oriented with a considerate approach toward current and outgoing residentsTech-savvy with the ability to use property management software and marketing platforms effectivelyA self-starter with creativity, professionalism, and a "people-first" attitudeFlexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings as needed, with at least one weekend day requiredWhy Join Us: This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team in a vibrant apartment community.
