Required Skills & ExperienceBSc or equivalent in a relevant scientific subject (e.g., biology, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, or another relevant life science field). - 2+ years of demonstrated technical expertise in cell culture, laboratory instrumentation, and cell-based assays, - Mammalian Cell Culture / Cancer Cell LinesNice to Have Skills & ExperienceExperience with automated liquid handling is desirable Experience with data analysis/statistical/graphing software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, Spotfire) and/or automation orchestration/scheduler software (e.g., Green Button Go) is desirable.Job DescriptionOne of our large pharmaceutical clients is actively hiring for a Cell Culture Scientist to join their Target Discovery Team, specifically within human biology and target identification. You will be supporting a cross-department initiative aimed at integrating automation and AI/ML to enable increasingly scaled in vitro experimentation. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with experience in cell culture and in vitro assay execution to support this cross-functional team. This role provides the opportunity to further develop these skills through their application in scalable, automated settings and across a diverse therapeutic portfolio of target identification programs. -Maintain mammalian cell cultures and prepare cells for experiments, including passaging and plating of cell lines, as well as occasional work with primary or iPSC-derived cells or other complex in vitro models. -Prepare reagents for maintaining cell cultures in automated systems. -Prepare reagents for conducting assays both on and off automated platforms. -Support assay development efforts as needed. - Execute wet-lab protocols for assays involving high-parameter endpoints, including operating endpoint equipment such as high-content imaging and plate readers in both automated and non-automated settings. - Utilize liquid handling units, including plate washers and high-precision dispensers, to automate wet lab protocols. - Ensure stocks of reagents and consumables are maintained; facilitate ordering and stocking when required. - Maintain an electronic laboratory notebook in compliance with local business rules and procedures. - Comply with Health and Safety procedures to ensure personal well-being and product quality. - Assist with the preparation of SOPs, Risk Assessments, and best practice guides. This is a 12 month engagement to support a project for full integration of wet & dry lab to perform iterative experimentation.Compensation:$35-45/hrExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
