We are a privately held company within the architecture and planning industry.Role DescriptionSeeking a Commercial Interior Designer that knows furniture and finishes as well as how to run a small project (5,000 sf), communicate effectively with the client and HFP team for projects in the New Jersey area. The role involves client-facing, programming, site survey, concept creation, FFE selection, designing and detailing in AutoCAD and managing the clients' needs. Responsibilities include creating design concepts, overseeing the design team, managing budgets - both internally and for the client, and ensuring effective communication and customer service throughout project execution. Sketchup capabilities are a plus.QualificationsStrong Communication and Customer Service skillsWell organized with keen follow-up skillsProficiency in Budgeting (or interested in learning)Ability to think strategically and anticipate potential issuesRelevant certifications or accreditations in interior design and project management are a plusBachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Facility Department5-10 years experienceCollaborate 4 days in office with design team in Branchburg, NJ with 1 day remote work.
