The organization's mission is to protect patient safety by sharing information and developing processes related to the integrity of the healthcare supply chain and the quality of materials within the supply chain.Position DescriptionThe Financial Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of our growing organization with a primary focus on managing the accounts receivable and payable processes. This includes coordinating the collection of annual membership dues, A/R and A/P invoice processing, and establishing rapport and maintaining ongoing communication with customers to ensure timely payments. Additionally, the role involves general financial accounting functions including, but not limited to, the preparation of monthly journal entries and assisting with the month-end close and updating key financial metrics to provide accurate insights and reporting. Responsibilities/DutiesManage Accounts Receivable by coordinating with internal departments on account standings, collections, and invoice tracking for monthly KPIsMaintain effective and professional communication with customers regarding outstanding paymentsGenerate bills and invoices for both Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivablePrepare and update weekly A/R reports, ensuring metrics and visuals are current and accurateAudit assistance with external audit firm annuallyAd hoc analyses and reporting as needed by managementQualificationsAssociate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalentMinimum of one year of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a corporate environmentDemonstrated experience in Accounts Receivable and Payable management preferredStrong communication, attention to detail, and customer service skillsExperience with QuickBooks, Salesforce, and PowerBI are preferredSkills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesStrong understanding of accounting principles and practicesProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelAble to communicate well verbally and in writingExcellent attention to detailAbility to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamStrong organizational and documentation skillsCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information appropriatelyPlease note Rx-360 reserves the right to amend or change this job description based on consortium needs.Rx-360 is an "equal opportunity employer."
