1st, 2nd, & 3rd shiftsJob SummaryThe Manufacturing Technician is responsible for hands-on assembly and operation of precision machinery used to manufacture small components. This role involves working with detailed mechanical processes, using measurement tools, troubleshooting automated equipment, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards in a cleanroom or GMP-regulated environment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or within a team.ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on crimping and automated assembly equipment.Monitor and maintain raw material feeds; clear equipment faults and stoppages.Use HMIs to adjust and monitor process controls.Ensure accurate material preparation and timely job execution to meet production schedules.Troubleshoot mechanical issues using established troubleshooting guides.Use computer systems to support inventory and quality management activities.Participate in process development, equipment validations, and new product introduction.Measure and inspect components to meet required tolerances.Follow standard operating procedures for material handling, documentation, packaging, and shipping.Maintain clean, organized, and compliant workspaces aligned with GMP standards.Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and implement improvements.Perform additional duties as assigned by production leadership.QualificationsHigh School diploma or Associate degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or assemblyAbility to lift up to 20 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shiftExperience with manufacturing tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)Familiarity with automated and robotic systemsKnowledge of quality control and production processesPrevious experience in discrete component assembly
