You'll help us answer critical questions: What's working? What's not? How can we deliver the highest-quality services while ensuring the resources to sustain and expand them?Your leadership will strengthen the impact of our programs, identify opportunities for growth, and use data to tell the story of our value - to clients, funders, and the community. You'll bring departments together, build a clear picture of our operational and financial landscape, and turn that knowledge into actionable strategies that improve outcomes and position Gilead for long-term success.How You'll Make Your ImpactBuild a data-informed, financially sustainable service modelLead fiscal oversight for all mental health and substance use programs.Develop growth strategies that align with mission, quality standards, and revenue goals.Monitor performance metrics, service gaps, and outcomes to guide program enhancements.Turn insights into action across the organizationEstablish measurable, data-driven success indicators that go beyond "feel-good" outcomes.Provide actionable feedback to leadership and staff based on financial, operational, and clinical data.Oversee billing operations, payer mix strategies, and contract compliance to maximize reimbursement.Lead strategic projects and operational improvementsPartner with the Gilead Administrative Leadership Team to manage strategic planning, business planning, and agency-wide initiatives.Collaborate with Finance to forecast needs, prepare and monitor budgets, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions.Manage high-impact projects that enhance billable services, expand offerings, and strengthen community relationships.Align teams and strengthen organizational capacityBring clinical, administrative, finance, and HR teams together to align resources and processes.Oversee administrative support staff as needed, ensuring smooth coordination across departments.Improve policies, procedures, and administrative systems for efficiency and compliance.Secure resources for growthResearch and pursue new funding sources, including public and private grants.Cultivate partnerships with funders, strategic partners, and community organizations.Support development and fundraising efforts to advance Gilead's mission.This Role Might Be for You If You're:A mission-driven strategistWhether your experience is in the for-profit or nonprofit world, you care about the people behind the numbers and understand that strong data and sustainable funding keep services alive.A bridge-builder: You connect clinical, administrative, finance, and HR teams to solve complex challenges, and translate financial, operational, and program data into clear, actionable insights.Ready to scale your impactYou've successfully applied a data-informed, strategic approach in a program or business unit and are ready to step into organization-wide leadership.What You Bring:5+ years of leadership experience in financial management and data analysis, operational strategy, or program administration - with a track record of using metrics to guide decisions, improve outcomes, and drive sustainable growth.To be considered for this role, please submit both your resume and a cover letter outlining your interest and relevant experience.Skills in program growth and sustainability - including identifying revenue opportunities, expanding services, and strengthening community and funder relationships.Excellent organizational, strategic thinking, and communication skills - including the ability to present confidently and effectively to diverse audiences.Passion for community impact.Valid driver's license and insuranceEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or Social Work with an administrative or business focus.What's a Bonus (But Not Required)Experience in public health or behavioral health, especially with evidence-based and recovery-oriented practices in outpatient and residential service models.Experience in complex funding structures, or Connecticut's mental health and recovery landscape (including 1115 standards).Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, Medicaid, and state licensure.Background bridging business and clinical settings.Advanced degree (MBA or MPH) with a healthcare or nonprofit focus.We Offer:Starting salary of $80,000 to $95,000 annually.Work-life balance, with flexible scheduling and generous paid time off (up to 4 weeks paid vacation, 13 holidays, 2 paid personal days, 12 sick days).Truly affordable medical, dental and vision benefits that save you nearly 50% more than the national average.Investment in your future through our 403(b) retirement plan and match, scholarship programs, tuition reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.Peace of mind with free long-term disability insurance and affordable short- and long-term life insurance options.
