About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join the General Counsel's office of a leading national construction and engineering company. The successful candidate will provide critical support on contracts, compliance, and corporate matters, helping manage the legal and regulatory framework behind high-profile projects in data centers, semiconductor facilities, healthcare, and industrial sectorsKey ResponsibilitiesContract SupportDraft, review, and redline subcontracts, supplier agreements, NDAs, and purchase ordersAssist with flow-down provisions, change orders, and amendmentsMaintain contract database and track key obligations and deadlinesRisk & ComplianceManage lien and notice calendars across multiple states (particularly Texas and national operations)Track and organize certificates of insurance and compliance documentationSupport OSHA and regulatory compliance reporting in coordination with Safety teamsCorporate & Entity ManagementAssist with state filings, entity registrations, and annual reportsMaintain corporate governance records and coordinate with outside counsel as neededProject & Litigation SupportManage documentation for ongoing projects including commissioning, warranties, and closeout packagesSupport litigation holds, discovery requests, and document productionGeneral Counsel Office SupportMaintain legal files and document management systemsCoordinate with business units, project managers, and executive leadership on legal inquiriesQualificationsEducation: Paralegal Certificate or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business, or related fieldExperience: 3-7 years' experience as a paralegal in construction, corporate law, or in-house legal departmentsKnowledge: Familiarity with AIA/ConsensusDocs contracts, lien/notice regimes, and insurance requirements is strongly preferredSkills:Strong contract review/redlining skills (Word/DocuSign CLM, Adobe, etc.)Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines across multiple jurisdictionsDetail-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skillsWhat's on OfferOpportunity to join a growing in-house legal team at a well-established, nationally recognized contractorExposure to marquee projects in high-growth industries (data centers, semiconductors, healthcare)Competitive salary + bonus + comprehensive benefits packageLong-term career growth and development within a Fortune 300-backed organization
