They gather and organize all necessary tools needed to perform these procedures and monitor a patient's vital signs throughout surgery. They also provide assistance as required by surgical teams while passing instruments that have been sterilized. Ultimately, you will work with a team of medical staff to ensure each procedure is a success from start to finish.ResponsibilitiesPrepare the operating room for upcoming surgeriesChair side assistingRecover patients after sedationStock and clean roomsWash and sterilize instrumentsTest and clean autoclaveXray, panorex, cone bean CT takingTracking and manage implantsManage inventoryAssist with patient educationTake inventory of supplies and maintain files and records of proceduresCrash cart updatesAssistance with anesthesia/sedation and nitrous-oxideInforming patients on pre-op and post-op instructionsReviewing patient health historyUpholding a safe and clean working environment by complying with OSHA infection control policies, and helping the oral surgeons manage medical emergencies with CPR certification, emergency kit, oxygen and other emergency supplies.RequirementsMA State Dental Assistant LicenseDAANCE Certification PreferredDental or Surgical Experience and ability to multi-TaskPay: From $30.00 per hour
