Candidate needs 2 years of DRT continuous experience within the past 3 years required.Paying $64.00 hour Benefits /stipend available.Design your schedule according to your availabilityJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per DiemExpected hours: 24 - 40 per weekSchedule: Sunday to Saturday8 hour shifts11am - 7:30pm Saturday and Sunday3:30pm-midnight - Saturday and Sunday Midnight to 8am - Monday & Tuesday Weekend coverage - Saturday and SundayPer Diem - design your own schedule of availabilityJob OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role is critical in providing accurate imaging results that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients effectively. The Radiologic Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, and may also assist in the Emergency Room (ER) setting.ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-rays and, adhering to established protocols.Ensure the application of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs.Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging results, and equipment usage.Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively while following all safety protocols.Stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and best practices in medical imaging.Assist in training new staff or students as needed.ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:2 years of DRT continuous experience within the past 3 years requiredAble to function independently with time repetition for Ti, T2 and Proton density sequences, Time inversion for the 3 Tesla and Post processing specific to the 3 TeslaFamiliar with Philips, Philips R&F and Siemens R&fProficient understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.Experience with various imaging modalities including X-Ray,Familiarity with working in an ER setting is advantageous.Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology practices and protocols.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining patient-centered care.REQUIREMENTSMust be American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) General DRT, DRT are required to be certified and licensed by the State of California in radiography and fluoroscopy. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Contract personnel must be familiar with all radiographic diagnostic fluoroscopy, surgery procedures, portable (including C-Arm), and routine general diagnostic exams. PACS work experience is required. All contract personnel must have a minimum of two (2) years of current work experience that demonstrates the ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
