Family owned and operated Funeral home, cemetery and crematory seeks a new family member for an inside sales position at Highview Memorial Gardens!QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentSales experience preferredHigh level of compassion for those we serve through our family business of caring for the dead and their familiesAbove-average communications (oral and written), listening and office administration skillsAbility to use Email, Excel and Word for reporting and communicationBasic proficiency in math and experience in contract writingDemonstrated proficiency in problem-solving skillsAbility to be a self starter, participate in community outreach events, multi-task and set priorities to optimize individual successValid driver's licenseExpected Work Hours/Location: Monday-Friday 8:30 to 4:30PM in Fallston, MD, alternating Saturdays and/or special events on the propertyBenefitsFull timeRange: CommissionWe offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package with this position, including health insurance; paid holidays, sick and vacation leaveResponsibilitiesOur Family Service Counselor is responsible for developing a personalized experience with emphasis on providing excellent customer serviceProvides support to clients and family members, frequently holding face-to-face conversations and meetingsAssist families with selections involving traditional burial and cremation options, including the sale and design of memorial markers, monuments, urns, and other memorial itemsParticipate in overall cemetery operations, including greeting guests, providing in-person, by-phone, and online customer support, park tours, offering location assistance, and maintaining up-to-date sales-related paperworkComplete special assignments from the Cemetery Manager and perform other duties that may arise related to family requests and the course of daily business
