Orthopedic Trauma SurgeonLocation: Washington Job Type: Locum TenensDuration: 6-9 monthsSchedule: Two weeks per month, specific dates to be determinedCoverage needed: November 17-30; anticipate commitment to December dates soon as well.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for a locum tenens opportunity in a Level II Trauma Center in Washington state. This position requires a fellowship-trained surgeon with a strong background in trauma and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The role involves a split schedule of 24/7 ER call coverage and dedicated outpatient clinic time.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care in a Level II Trauma setting.Cover 24/7 ER call for two weeks per month.Work 3.5 days per week in an outpatient clinic.Perform a full spectrum of orthopedic cases, with the exception of complex pelvic issues.Collaborate with dedicated support staff, including Physician Assistants and MAs.Utilize the EPIC EMR system for patient documentation.Qualifications:Required:Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery.Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery.A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Level II Trauma Center.Active Washington state medical license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand.Compensation and Benefits: We offer a highly competitive compensation package.
