You'll lead the organization and flow of inventory while supporting pricing, tagging, and strategic process improvement.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role, values precision, and enjoys collaborating with both sales and shop teams in a fast-paced retail setting.What You'll Be DoingManage and track a large volume of jewelry inventory using our established systemsEnsure all items are properly received, tagged, documented, and classified for sales and appraisalsOversee product movement across departments, custom jobs, and estate purchasesCollaborate with sales and operations to ensure inventory aligns with merchandising needsSupport pricing and flow of merchandise in and out of the storeSupport all shipping proceduresDevelop and refine inventory procedures to improve turnaround time and accuracyMaintain accuracy on the website, pricing, pictures, in stock itemsManage inventory on Ruby Lane & EtsySupervise and mentor one team member, fostering a detail-driven and collaborative work cultureMaintain an organized, professional workspaceWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in inventory management or retail operations, preferably in jewelry, luxury goods, or a product-based businessStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentationFamiliarity with inventory software or POS systems (The Edge a plus)Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with vendorsExperience supervising or training team membersComfortable working full-time A positive attitude and a desire to contribute to a growing, process-driven teamRequired QualificationsBackground in gemology or jewelry appraisal (GG certification)Knowledge of gemstone classification, metals, and jewelry historyExperience processing estate collections and creating accurate inventory records
