You will take full ownership of sourcing, production, logistics, fulfillment, quality, and customer service, enabling the President to transition away from day-to-day operations. You will translate growth plans into scalable systems, build and lead a high-performing ops team, and ensure seamless execution across e-commerce and retail (Shopify, Amazon, TikTok, UNFI, KeHE, Target, Costco, CVS). This is a high-leverage, high-autonomy role for a world-class operator who thrives in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & ExecutionLead end-to-end operations from sourcing to last-mile fulfillmentOwn KPIs including COGS, gross margin, OTIF, inventory turns, chargebacks, and budget adherenceDevelop dashboards and reporting systems to monitor performance and surface insightsBuild scalable SOPs and workflows across Ops, Sales, Finance, R&D, and Customer ExperienceOwn and evolve the operational tech stack (Cin7, ERP, WMS, EDI, Shopify, Amazon integrations)COGS Optimization & Supply Chain OwnershipFully accountable for all COGS drivers including ingredients, waste, packaging, tolling, and freightSource and negotiate with ingredient, packaging, and raw material vendorsBuild redundancy through dual sourcing, vendor diversification, and continuity planningLead new co-manufacturer onboarding across food, beverage, and supplement categoriesOversee 3PL searches, onboarding, and ongoing performance managementRetail & Channel FulfillmentEnsure seamless supply chain execution across DTC, Amazon, and retail channelsManage EDI compliance and chargebacks with key accounts including UNFI, KeHE, Target, Costco, and CVSLead biweekly S&OP meetings to align demand planning and execution across teamsCross-Functional & Project LeadershipOwn operational project management for new product development, reformulations, and channel launchesPartner with Sales, Finance, and R&D to ensure timely, cost-effective commercializationSupport fundraising and board-level communications with data-driven operational insightsBuild, coach, and retain a high-performing team with a culture of ownership, speed, and excellenceQuality, Compliance & Customer ExperienceOwn food safety programs and ensure ongoing compliance with certifications such as Kosher, Gluten-Free, and OrganicManage quality assurance escalations across co-mans and 3PLsBuild and lead the customer service team; resolve escalated customer issues with a focus on speed and satisfactionWhat Success Looks Like in Year 1Reduced ingredient and freight COGS by 10 percent through vendor and logistics optimizationOnboard additional co-manufacturer in new food and supplement categoriesImproved OTIF to over 95 percent and cut chargebacks by 50 percent across retail accountsLaunched 5-10 new SKUs on time and under budget across DTC and retailBuilt operational dashboards for real-time KPI visibility and leadership reportingIdeal Candidate10+ years in CPG operations and supply chain (food, beverage, or wellness)Proven success scaling a brand from $20M to $250M+ in revenueExpert in vendor sourcing, co-man and 3PL onboarding, and operational financeExperience managing complex fulfillment across DTC, Amazon, and national retailFluency in demand planning, ERP, WMS, and EDI systems (Cin7 experience preferred)Advanced skills in Google Sheets, project management, and financial modelingStrong communicator and team builder with exceptional attention to detailBachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plusAbout MOSHMOSH is a mission-driven brain health company founded by Maria Shriver and Patrick Schwarzenegger.
