Job Description

The District Manager is responsible for overall district performance and the direct operation of a group of approximately ten to fifteen stores. As a business owner, the District Manager is directly accountable for ensuring that every site delivers best-in-class customer service, consistent achievement of operational excellence, and professional development of the Store Management team.Essential Role and Responsibilities:Drive district same store growth to be at or above the previous yearDrive district same store fuel break even to be at or above the previous yearEffectively implement and uphold Standard Operating Procedures to allow for sustainable growthDrive customer satisfaction scores to be at or above goalEnsure new store sites are opened effectively, on time, and fully staffed with trained personnelEnsure total merchandise gross margin growth per site is at or above planDrive promotional sales to be at or above planEnsure stores are set and maintained to plan-o-gramManage district operation costs to be at or below plan (before maintenance refresh)Ensure district safety results are achieved (Total Recordable Injury Rate)Manage district shrink results to be at or below planEnsure store management positions are filled with succession plans in placeSupport company initiatives/rollouts and maintain changesEnsure store hours of operation are optimizedIdentify key competitors correctlyOptimize district-wide market trendsEffectively communicate with the Fuel Pricing and Merchandising departments to ensure margins are optimizedMaintain compliance to fuel and merchandising programsEffectively administer certified training manager programEffectively develop Store ManagersEnsure store teams are actively demonstrating our principles and core competenciesEnsure performance review process is administered consistently and effectively across the districtConduct effective store visits per company guidelinesBenefits:Store commissions- paid monthlyCompany vehicle for business useHealthcare- medical and prescription, dental, vision insuranceRetirement- 401K plan, company matches 6% plus annual retirement contribution, 100% funded by company and valued at 3% of base payPTO- time accrues based on how long you've been part of our teamEducation assistance- tuition reimbursementCareer advancement opportunitiesDiverse and inclusive culture putting people first- rated one of America's Best Employers for DiversityEducation and Experience:Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
