Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist - SLP

Pediatric SLPApple Valley, MNWe are seeking a driven full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team. As an outpatient clinician, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of children. Treatment is individualized to each patient, as sessions are one-to-one, allowing you to be flexible with their plan of care. A rewarding part of your role will be collaboration with your fellow teammates! Our clinics are comprised of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. This allows you the opportunity to work together to drive patient success. This can include co-treatment when it is clinically appropriate.Job Duties:Perform assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in children.Provide intervention and support to clients in the development of communication skills.Maintain accurate records of all speech therapy sessions, progress notes, and progress reports.Bill for treatment while adhering to compliance standards.Document appropriately and efficiently.Communicate effectively with patients, families, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.Maintain a safe clinic environment.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Master's degree in speech-language pathology or related field required.Must be able to obtain proof of current or pending Minnesota State Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (ASL/SLP). Certification is obtained through a state-approved program and is valid for a minimum of 3 years from the date of accreditation. We also accept CFYs.Experience working with children with speech disorders is preferred but not required.Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.Must possess outstanding time management skills and the ability to multi-task.MyPTS
