Self-Funded Health Benefits Sales - (DFW)REQUIRED: Current relationships with employee benefits brokers/consultants in DFW and experience selling self-funded plans, stop-loss, or TPA services.About OpenNetworksOpenNetworks is a healthcare technology platform that connects providers and purchasers directly, transparently, and efficiently. It is a dynamic ecosystem - launching in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and rapidly expanding throughout the rest of Texas and the United States. We're seeking individuals who have frontline experience in healthcare organizations and contract negotiations between payers and providers. Most importantly, we want curious, forward-thinking professionals who see the positive potential in healthcare transformation.We are seeking a motivated Regional Sales Manager with deep experience in the employee benefits ecosystem to focus exclusively on developing and growing relationships with self-funded employers in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, with the potential to expand into other geographies in Texas. This role offers competitive base compensation plus an uncapped commission structure designed to reward high performers with exceptional earning potential. The ideal candidate will leverage their existing relationships with benefits brokers, consultants, and self-insured employers to establish OpenNetworks as the preferred partner in the employee benefits ecosystem, attaining specific membership goals and revenue targets.ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & ProspectingIdentify and research self-funded employers in the DFW market through various channels including databases, networking events, and referralsLeverage existing broker and consultant relationships to generate warm introductions and partnership opportunitiesDevelop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospectsExecute cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach to generate new opportunitiesAttend local industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to build market presenceConduct initial discovery calls to understand employer benefits challenges and objectivesSchedule and facilitate product demonstrations and presentations for HR leaders and C-suite executivesDevelop customized proposals and pricing solutions for self-funded employersManage the sales process from initial contact through contract executionPartner effectively with brokers and consultants to create win-win scenarios that benefit all stakeholdersIdentify and coordinate with self-insured employers' key partners including TPAs, brokers, consultants, underwriters, etc.Coordinate with internal OpenNetworks teams including product management, implementation, and customer successAchieve sales targets including membership goals and revenue generationRelationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with HR directors, benefits managers, and executive decision-makersCultivate and expand relationships with the broker and consultant community in DFWServe as primary point of contact for assigned prospects and clients during the sales cycleProvide ongoing support and consultation to ensure client satisfaction and identify expansion opportunitiesCollaborate with existing channel partners when appropriate to maximize sales opportunitiesMarket Intelligence & ReportingMaintain accurate records of all sales activities and prospect interactions in CRM systemTrack and report on key metrics including calls made, meetings scheduled, proposals submitted, and revenue generatedProvide feedback to management on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needsParticipate in regular sales meetings and pipeline reviews with Sales LeaderExperienceBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of B2B sales experience specifically in employee benefits, insurance, or related industriesEstablished relationships with benefits brokers and consultants in the DFW market requiredDeep understanding of self-funded employer market and stop-loss insurance conceptsProven track record of working successfully within the broker/consultant distribution channelStrong communication and presentation skillsProficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office SuiteSelf-motivated with ability to work independently and manage time effectivelyValid driver's license and reliable transportationWillingness to travel within DFW area (up to 85%)Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsStart-up or high-growth experiencePassion for healthcare innovation and transformationCompensation & Growth OpportunityWe offer a competitive compensation package with an uncapped commission structure that directly rewards your success in growing the DFW market.
