Imaging Informatics Analyst - Contract - Coral Gables, FL - $45-52/hr.The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's/applicant's qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship not available.Our client is seeking an Imaging Informatics Analyst in Coral Gables, FLOur client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Imaging Informacist to manage and optimize their radiology information systems, including PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), RIS (Radiology Information System), and other imaging technologies. This role bridges clinical radiology and IT, ensuring seamless image access, storage, and integration across systems to support high-quality patient care.ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain PACS, RIS, and other imaging informatics systems.Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and IT teams to optimize image workflows.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to imaging systems.Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.Train clinical staff on imaging software and hardware usage.Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance checks.Develop and implement policies for image data storage, retrieval, and security.Participate in system upgrades and vendor evaluations.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in imaging informatics.Skills & Requirements5+ years of hands-on experience supporting PACS/RIS systems in healthcare environments Proficient with Philips IntelliSpace, Sectra PACS, Siemens RIS, and Change Healthcare platforms Strong understanding of radiology workflows and EMR integration (Epic Radiant, Cupid) Solid knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and imaging modality integration Familiarity with dictation/reporting systems (PowerScribe, PSOne) and imaging AI tools Skilled in troubleshooting, onsite support, and stakeholder collaboration Bachelor's degree required; CIIP or PACS Admin certification preferredBenefits/Other CompensationThis position is a contract/temporary role where Hays offers you the opportunity to enroll in full medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, 401K and Life Insurance ($20,000 benefit).Why Hays?You will be working with a professional recruiter who has intimate knowledge of the industry and market trends.
