We are seeking a Biomedical Engineering Technician (CBET) to support our Lincolnshire, IL operations. This role is responsible for the testing, troubleshooting, repair, parting-out, and refurbishing of diagnostic imaging equipment. The position requires strong multi-modality experience.ResponsibilitiesInspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair diagnostic imaging equipmentPerform parting-out and harvesting of equipment and subcomponents for resale; ensure accurate documentation and labeling of all partsConduct refurbishing and quality checks on imaging equipment in accordance with OEM and ISO 13485 standardsMaintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory dataCollaborate with operations leadership to ensure timely processing of incoming equipment and preparation for customer deliveryAdhere to all regulatory, safety, and quality standards, including ESD-safe practicesMaintain tools, test equipment, and workspace in proper working conditionSupport continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround timesQualificationsCertified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) or equivalent military training / experience in biomedical equipment repair (e.g., U.S. Army 68A, U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman - Biomedical, U.S. Air Force BMET, or similar)Minimum 5 years of experience working with diagnostic imaging equipment; GE CT expertise requiredMulti-modality experience (MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography, etc.) highly desirableStrong technical knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and computer systems related to imaging equipmentFamiliarity with ISO 13485 quality management standards and regulatory requirementsAbility to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documentationProficient in documentation and recordkeeping; ERP / WMS experience a plusAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks required in equipment servicingWhy Join UsThis is a ground-floor opportunity to be part of a company that's scaling fast.
