Civil Estimator - Construction

Position OverviewFamily owned company with 30+ year history and a strong backlog of projects seeks an experienced civil estimator to join their growing team.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects including earthwork, pump stations, wastewater treatment facilities, and more.Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and required resources.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather project information and clarify requirements.Utilize estimating software such as HCSS and Carlson to generate estimates.Conduct market research to assess material and labor costs for various civil construction tasks.Review and analyze subcontractor bids and proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements.Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients.Monitor project budgets and provide regular updates on potential cost overruns or savings.Required Qualifications5+ years civil estimating experiencePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Utility or process piping experience strongly preferredHCSS, Carlson (or similar) software experience a plusBenefitsMedical, dental, & vision insurancePTO401k w/ company matchShort and long-term disability insuranceLife insuranceAccess to a company vehicle for field/site visitsEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
