Quality Technician - Medical Device

Job Title: Quality TechnicianDuration: 12+ Months (Possible extension)Location: Maple Grove, MN 55311Onsite RoleResponsibilities:Experience with hands-on testing of product & analysisNeed previous experience in regulated field required.Quality Technician directly supports new product development by establishing and maintaining quality methodologies, systems, and practices which meet client, customer, and regulatory requirements.Works within a development team to identify and implement effective controls to support the development, qualification, and commercialization of products to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.Support Design Verification Activities: planning and executionMaintain inventory of product in support of Design VerificationCoordinate sterilization, conditioning, and testing requests to internal and external vendorsPrimary contact for coordination of testing with Product Assurance Lab (write work requests, deliver product/accessories, maintain tested product)Participate in and follow direction with regard to basic statistical analysisProvide technical support to NPD teams as neededAssist engineers in failure analysis and CAPA activitiesParticipate in continuous improvement projectsAssist with product failure analysisAssist with audit-related activitiesUse documentation systems to research information and generate Change NoticesAssist in developing and qualifying test methods, data sheets, test fixtures, and testing equipmentAssist in the investigation of nonconforming materials, designs and/or systemsEducation/Experience:High School diploma and 2 years of experience in a technical environmentExperience in a regulated environmentMedical device experience preferredComfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel computer software applicationsDemonstrates good documentation practices and ability to maintain deadlines
