Applicants interested in working with a team committed to excellence and dedicated to food quality & creativity while setting high standards at all times.ResponsibilitiesHigh School diploma required, Degree in culinary arts or related field highly preferred.Be committed to and passionate about high food standards and serviceThree years of progressive experience in a full service, upscale dining concept!Assist in training new and existing kitchen staff on the preparation, arrangement and plating of dishes per the current menuBe experienced in setting up and stocking stations with all necessary suppliesProficiency using computers, including MS Excel and Outlook.Have an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresHave accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasksDemonstrated success in running a profitable kitchen.Demonstrated success in managing and motivating a team of employees.Be willing to work weekends and holidaysMaintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with all guests and team membersAbility to work and make decisions in high pressure situations.Possess a valid food handler's cardExcellent interpersonal, organizational and supervisory skills.Have experience working in a high-volume kitchenEnjoy working both independently and as part of a large team
