Provide focused, meaningful care in a stable, predictable environment.Broaden Your ExpertiseLearn and apply the principles of Occupational Medicine, helping workers stay safe and healthy while gaining valuable industry certifications.Be a Trusted PartnerCollaborate closely with Health & Safety teams to create safer work environments, positively impacting entire worksites.What You'll DoProvide Patient CarePerform triage, first aid, and follow-up care, or refer to outside medical providers as needed.Be Calm in EmergenciesAssess situations, make sound decisions, and respond swiftly to ensure the best outcomes.Maintain RecordsAccurately document patient care and maintain medical records databases for the site.Support Safety EffortsParticipate in site Health & Wellness programs, deliver medical and safety awareness training, and conduct site walk-throughs.Coordinate Health InitiativesHelp organize on-site health fairs and wellness events.Be a Key CommunicatorLiaise with outside medical providers and the site management team to ensure seamless care and recovery processes.Site AssessmentWe strive to support our clients in the field, not in the office! You will spend 65% of your day actively engaging with the workers.What You BringPhysical Requirements: Ability to walk a job site including climbing stairs while carrying a backpack up to 35 pounds in all weather conditions.What We're Looking ForExperience and SkillsMinimum one year of full-time experience in 911 emergency medical response.Ability to lift/carry at least 35 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.Education and CertificationValid National Registry or State EMT Certification.CPR certification at the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider level (American Heart Association) or Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross).High School Diploma or equivalent.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).Experience on large-scale construction sites.Knowledge of the workers' compensation process.Instructor certification for First Aid, CPR, and AED training.OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.Why You'll Love It HereAt Amphibious Medics, we pride ourselves on creating a friendly, supportive work environment where you can thrive.
