Job Description

Mercer Counseling Services is a private practice located in Mercer County, New Jersey owned and operated by Tee Moschberger, MSEd, MS, LPC. Mercer Counseling currently serves children, adolescents, young adults and their families in New Jersey and Pennsylvania who are struggling with mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, social problems, life transitions, and chronic medical illness. MCS provides both in-person and virtual services.Mercer Counseling Services is a small practice of three clinicians seeking an additional NJ licensed clinician (LAC/LPC, LSW/LCSW, etc) to join our team. This clinician will have the opportunity to work up to their own desired hours and schedule, however, due to the nature of primarily working with kids/teens, must have afternoon/evening and/or weekend availability.This is a W2 clinical therapist position and is fee for service.BenefitsBeautiful office space in Pennington, NJ or ability to work virtually (as appropriate)Create and manage your own scheduleNo cap on financial earning potential (aka flex case load)Ability to develop professional interests such as community education, group therapy, etc.Clinical supervision and training providedJob RequirementsMasters or Doctorate in counseling/psychology or related field.Must have and maintain a clinical license in New JerseyAdditional state licensures or other certifications/skills are a plus (PA/NY especially)Must provide appropriate clearances, proof of licensure, etc. upon hire1 year experience working with children and/or adolescents required (additional populations, niches, and specialty services are welcome as well)Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week (at least 12 in person), up to full-timeCultural competency and the desire to understand and work with people of diverse backgrounds, including race, religion, gender/sexuality, etc.Carry malpractice insuranceComply with HIPAA and state licensing regulationsComplete timely and accurate recordsAbility to learn and use Electronic Health Record (EHR) and telehealth servicesJob Type: Part-time up to Full-timePay: $60.00 - $90.00 per hour based on experience, licensure, etc.Expected hours: No less than 15 hours per week; 12 hours must be in person and the bulk of hours will need to be in the afternoon/weekend due to accommodating after-school appointments for childrenBenefits:Flexible scheduleProfessional development assistanceSteady referrals providedCEU and licensure fee stipendsClinical supervision providedWork setting:In-personOfficeOutpatientPrivate practiceTelehealthEducation:Master's or higher (Required)Experience:Child and/or adolescent experience - 1 year (internship okay)License/Certification:Clinical license (LCSW, LPC, Preferred; LAC/LSW mandatory)New Jersey license (LAC/LPC, LSW/LCSW) (Required)Work Location: In person and hybrid
