Salary (flexible): $115k - $150kPosition OverviewThe Senior Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the projects are accounted for. This role involves collaborating with project managers, contractors, and clients to develop detailed proposals, analyze project specifications, and assess costs associated with materials, labor, and equipment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projectsAnalyze project specifications and blueprints to identify key requirementsCollaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather relevant cost dataUtilize estimating software such as Bluebeam and Procore to create and manage estimatesEvaluate requests for information (RFIs) and assess their impact on project costsConduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary dataPrepare and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholdersMonitor project costs during the construction phase and adjust estimates as necessaryOversee and mentor junior estimators in the estimating processQualificationsMinimum of 7 years of experience in estimating for construction projectsProficiency in estimating software including Bluebeam and ProcoreExcellent analytical and mathematical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesBenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
