We have been able to create a family amongst our team, living our Core Values which include, Integrity in all Things, Amazing Customer Service, Everyone A Leader, Candor with Goodwill, Family, and Giving.Summary: As a Paid Advertising Manager, you are responsible for managing and developing strategies across all channels, including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook, and Local Service Ads. You will coach the career development of Paid Advertising Specialists and Strategists and act as a subject matter expert in paid advertising strategies. Your role involves both hands-on implementation and strategic innovation, challenging best practices, and uncovering new opportunities. You will assist with client/partner calls alongside Partner Success team members, effectively communicate complex advertising strategies, and oversee the entire advertising approach, from ads to landing pages. Collaborating with the Director of Paid Advertising, you will define Best Practices and support Paid Advertising Specialists, Strategists, and Partner Success team members. Continuous learning, execution, and teaching are crucial aspects of this role.Mandatory Job Responsibilities:Ensure Client/Partner Success:Independently and autonomously manage assigned tasks for your primary book of business and brand/industry by being mindful of the task's intent, meticulously attending to execution details, allowing time to address questions or roadblocks, and ensuring alignment with the priorities set by the Partner Success team and Paid Advertising Director.Achieve excellent client/partner results by building, optimizing, and managing assigned accounts through weekly performance checks, proposing intervention plans for underperforming locations, and independently addressing and correcting specific areas of each program that are not meeting expectations.Ensure proper use of project management and file-sharing software, adherence to Best Practices and deadlines, and spot-check completed tasks to confirm thoughtful and accurate completion of work.Identify and research PPC techniques that could benefit our clients/partners, test these strategies in a controlled manner, teach team members based on the outcomes of these tests, whether successful or not.Think strategically and act as a sounding board for the Paid Advertising Director as necessary, always respectfully reject any course of action that would lead to inferior results for clients/partners.Set up bi-monthly performance meetings with Account Executives/Account Directors to review their book of clients/partners/brand/industry performance. Assist with client/partner calls and up-sells alongside the Account Executive/Account DirectorDevelop Best Practices, tests, and strategy for client/partners to determine better processes or strategies for your book of business and industry.Assist the Paid Advertising Director, Account Director, and Sales team in communicating ChoiceLocal's strategy to the client's corporate team/partners. This includes participating in meetings, acting as the liaison between ChoiceLocal and the corporate team, and providing professional feedback and strategic advice as needed.Assist in monitoring monthly KPI's and developing strategy for your primary brand/industry.Complete 2 LTT's per quarter.Obligation to the ChoiceLocal Team Uphold ChoiceLocal's high leadership standards by monitoring and safeguarding team morale, actively seeking and acting on feedback, providing hands-on support, taking full accountability for both personal and team actions to ensure no one feels unsupported, training new Paid Advertising team members during onboarding.Always advocate for your clients/partners must persistently seek solutions that deliver results, navigating challenging situations with honesty, integrity, and optimism, and consistently recognizing the best in clients/partners and team members, particularly during their toughest moments.Continue to learn, test, and teachnew ideas, committing to ongoing personal and professional growth, attending all best practice meetings and trainings, and bringing passion, energy, and creativity to their work, recognizing the impact on our partners and their families.Support the performance of all teams within an account to ensure they meet their KPI goals by using your expertise to provide feedback and develop action plans for teams not achieving these targets, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of the account and network to drive effective strategies.Ensure Paid Advertising Specialists and Strategists adhere to conventions by monitoring proper use of project management and file-sharing software, enforcing adherence to Best Practices and deadlines, and spot-checking completed tasks to confirm they are completed thoughtfully and accurately.Serve as the first point of contact for any questions or concerns regarding training, onboarding, or administrative procedures. Address these issues promptly and either provide a solution or connect the Specialist or Strategist with a team member who can assist as quickly as possible.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Finance, Business, Analytics or a related field.5+ years in paid advertising, digital marketing, or a similar role.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Proficient in creating and optimizing campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Microsoft Ads.Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.Proficient with digital advertising tools and platforms, project management software, and data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Basecamp).Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work collaboratively and independently, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.Proactive and innovative mindset with a passion for staying current with industry trends.Proficient with Excel.Knowledge of conversion rate optimization and A/B testing methodologies.Qualifications:Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and optimism when facing challenging situations.Ability to think strategically and develop plans.Ability to manage change effectively by adapting to shifting priorities and managing resistance.Ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage budget, forecast expenses, and allocate resources effectively.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
