Annual and project-based bonusesCompany vehicle or vehicle allowance (depending on candidate preference), along with inclusive benefits packageVery strong project pipeline and a love for the industry - clear progression potentialRelocation assistanceJob descriptionCarolina-based General Contractor with a heavy focus on water and wastewater plants new construction and facility repairs.JOB DESCRIPTIONA Superintendent has the knowledge, skills, and experience to manage the day-to-day field operations of all aspects of a Commercial construction project.Implement all safety policies and quality programs, ensuring strong performance on safety auditsManage the activities of subcontractors, vendors and labor, maintaining strict control over the accuracy and quality for each work activityPlan look-ahead schedules, maintain project schedule controlsIdentify and report problems or deficiencies to the Director / project executivesDocument on-site activities that may impede progress or compliance to project/contract requirementsReview subcontract agreementsMaintain strict control over the budget for each work activityCoordinate receipt of and inventory of all owner supplied materialsQUALIFICATIONSA minimum of 6 years of construction experience as a superintendent on wastewater projects (new construction preferred)The capability of maintaining and following a Critical Path project scheduleA thorough understanding of and ability to maintain a current, complete set of project documents, blueprints, revisions, specifications, and related itemsGeneral computer skills, willingness to expand the use of new technologies for scheduling and reportsDegree in construction mgt, civil engineering, or equivalent.
