Our client, a medical equipment manufacturer and distributor, is actively looking for a Marketing & Sales Assistant to join their team in El Segundo, CA! This role is onsite hybrid 2 days a week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays) so local candidates are required.This is a contract role through the end of the year with opportunity to extend based on business needs & performanceThis Marketing & Sales Assistant will be responsible for providing essential marketing & event operations support to one of the company's Marketing & Sales Teams. This will entail coordinating internal and external communications, managing events, and assisting with marketing operations. This role requires a high level of organization, professionalism, and the ability to work independently on a variety of projects.ResponsibilitiesManage and organize all communications between internal departments, external customers, and vendor partners, including purchase orders, inventory requests, check requests, and correspondence.Maintain and update the department's Selling website and ensure accuracy and relevance of all posted content.Utilize Salesforce & SAP to generate reports and analyze product, customer, and repair sales history.Coordinate logistics for events, workshops, and major conventions, including pre-meeting planning, attendee tracking, vendor communication, catering, compliance documentation, and other support.Assist with planning and execution of internal sales training programs and onboarding of new hires, including SAP setup, IT coordination, training schedules, and SAP learning modules.Track and maintain inventory of marketing samples, prototypes, and promotional materials.Support product launches by assisting with validation, ZMAT entries, forecast support, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation.Contribute to development and design of digital marketing tools and sales enablement resources.Provide administrative backup support when other team members are out of office.Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree is required2+ years of experience working as an Assistant, preferably in a sales or marketing environmentExperience with sales event coordination is idealExperience working with Salesforce and/or SAP is a plusAbility to wear many hats and multi-task to support requests from direct manager, team, and other sales repsMedical device industry experience is a plus
