Sr. Civil Design Engineer (PE)

Senior Civil Engineer (PE) - Airport Infrastructure OR Wastewater FocusWe are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to lead the planning, design, and execution of complex airport infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality civil site design for roadways, parking facilities, utility systems, and related infrastructure, while ensuring compliance with FAA, ICAO, and local standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead multidisciplinary design teams in developing comprehensive civil site plans.Prepare and review detailed drawings, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates.Perform hydrologic/hydraulic studies, earthwork analysis, and site condition assessments.Oversee construction activities, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to design specifications.Manage permitting processes and coordinate with regulatory agencies for approvals.Collaborate with architects, surveyors, contractors, and government stakeholders.Mentor and guide junior engineers and design staff to develop technical expertise.Stay current with evolving design standards, regulations, and best practices.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.15-20+ years of progressive experience in civil site design, with airport project experience strongly preferred.Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software.Deep knowledge of FAA/ICAO standards and regulatory requirements.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
