Construction Superintendent

Highland Consulting Group, a construction specific recruiting firm specializing in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, is seeking an experienced Superintendent with Wastewater or Water Treatment experience for the Harrisburg, PA area. This will be working for a well-established General Contractor that does both ground up and retrofit projects. Successful candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent working on Wastewater and Water Treatment plant projects. This is a permanent position with projects within a commutable distance requiring little overnight travel.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and delegates tasks with other project team members.Oversee daily operations on site to ensure that projects run smoothly.Work with the Safety Manager to create a safe work site.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality control practices.Schedule crews and subcontractors.Arrange for material and equipment to be on site as needed.Work with the foremen to coordinate the daily production plan.Oversee quality control.Daily reporting of all work completed.Interface with the owner on all projects assigned.Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent working on Wastewater or Water Treatment projects.A mix of ground up and retrofit experience.Broad trades experience with a preference for mechanical equipment and piping.Project experience up to $25 Million is preferred.Solid Communication both verbal and written.Ability to multi-task.Solid, proven and verifiable record of career stability and superintendent success a must.Benefits:This company cares about and is committed to the well being of its employees and their families.
