Estimator

Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are carefully planned and budgeted. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and estimating, with the ability to analyze project requirements and develop comprehensive estimates that align with client expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment for construction projects.Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate project budgets and timelines.Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive and fair estimates.Maintain a database of historical costs and perform cost analysis to improve future estimating accuracy.Provide support during the bidding process and assist in the preparation of bid proposals.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in estimating for construction projects.Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.Proficiency in estimating software and tools, with experience in Hard Dollar and Primavera considered a plus.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and negotiation skills.BenefitsBenefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insuranceEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
