A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Facilities EngineerPosition Type: Full time Contract, Possible Contract to HireDuration: 4-5 months Location: Columbia, MDShift: 1st shift As a Facilities Engineer you will Develop and implement space planning strategies that accommodate current and future organizational needs.Analyze space requirements and provide solutions to maximize the use of physical resources.Coordinate with department heads and management to understand departmental space needs.Manage and update space management databases and CAD drawings.Oversee the allocation, design, and layout of workspaces.Conduct regular space audits and make recommendations for improvements.Collaborate with facilities, IT, and security teams to ensure a cohesive work environment.Manage relocations, renovations, and workspace adjustments.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.Assist in the preparation of capital budgeting for space-related expenditures.Proficiency in CAD software and space planning tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, and health and safety standards.Ideal candidate will have:Bachelor's degree in architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, or a related field.
